(I am a trifle surprised no one had mentioned this to you before, as it was one of the primary reasons I didn't get an iPod Touch.) What's even lamer is Apple's decision to exclude podcatchers from its Apps store: see http://www.fiercedeveloper.com/story/apple-closes-app-store-loophole/2008-09-29 for the latest in that saga.
